Venezuela is participating in International Petroleum Exhibition

Riyadh.- Venezuela is participating in the International Petroleum Exhibition that began on november 14, in Saudi Arabia, and is represented by the People’s Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.

Venezuela will attend the 3rd Summit of Sovereign Heads of State and/or Government of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). This Summit will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia next Saturday and Sunday. There, Venezuela will present comprehensive information on Full Oil Sovereignty, the Oil Sowing Plan, the Social Missions, and the tasks carried out by the La Estancia Arts Center.
 
The Exhibition was inaugurated by Ali Ibrahim Al Naimi, Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. OPEC countries and other companies related to the hydrocarbon sector are participating in the Summit.
 
During Minister Naimi’s tour around the Exhibition, he visited the stand of the People’s Ministry for Energy and Petroleum of Venezuela and PDVSA. There he greeted directors and employees, and talked about the progress achieved by Venezuela regarding income redistribution based on the hydrocarbon fiscal policy implemented by the Bolivarian Government.

The gathering of OPEC leaders will take place after an Energy Symposium. The attendees will discuss topics related to oil and gas market perspectives, sustainable development, and oil’s future of the global economy.
